Aetheria — Between Sky and Earth
A world where a once-united continent was torn into the sky. The floating city-archipelago known as The Canopy Isles and the sunlight-starved ground civilization The Root Realm maintain a cycle of conflict and trade. The Canopy Isles are kept aloft by the power of floating crystals called Aether Crystals, while The Root Realm shares information and life force through a vast underground mycelium network known as the Memory of the Earth. The balance between them is beginning to waver with the omens of The Great Fall — a catastrophe that comes once every millennium.

かつて一つだった大陸が天空に引き裂かれた世界。空に浮かぶ都市群「天蓋諸島」と、光の届かない地上「根の国」が対立と交易を繰り返す。天蓋諸島は浮遊結晶「エーテル石」の力で空に留まり、根の国は地下に広がる巨大な菌糸ネットワーク「大地の記憶」を通じて情報と生命力を共有する。両者の均衡は、千年に一度訪れる「大落下」の予兆によって揺らぎ始めている。
